A GENTLE NOTE

** The spiritual atmosphere of most of our churches are Laodecean in nature . We are living in days where we say we have it down, we are 'rich and increased with goods and in need of nothing', but do not realize our spiritual poverty and nakedness. In our christian religiosity , we have it all together and parade it every Sunday. Our churches in many ways have become 'The Sunday Show'. God people are tired and thirst for truth in their hearts. Only Jesus can satisfy the truely hungry. He says for us to turn (repent), and as we turn we see Him! He invites us to buy from Him gold that has already been tried in the fire. This represents His very essence of Life. He says buy this from Me. That means give Me something for it. The ultimate trade! When we buy we give something in exchange for something. We need to be honest with God and admit all we have to give is our sin, our self-righteousness , our pride in walking our own way and not laying it all down in front of Him. All we have to offer is our own filthy rags and yet He still says "Come and buy, I am here". Who He loves He rebukes. It's proof we belong to Him. Are we cold,hot or lukewarm? **
