Jim Carrey In a November 2004 interview on CBS's "60 Minutes," Jim Carrey was unashamed to voice his spiritual beliefs, which is quite unusual for an actor. I have never seen any actor so bare his soul. When the interviewer said, "I get the sense you are a big bundle of conflicting emotions," Jim responded, "Yeah, I'm emotional. I've decided to be there. I only act in the movies." My heart went out to him. This week we received a phone call from a young lady named Kelsey J. who attends Pepperdine University in Malibu. She saw Jim Carrey in a yogurt shop on a Friday night in April. She left, drove around the block ten times, terrified to go back. But she did, and was able to witness to himfor an hour. She took him through the Law and he was very open. Interestingly, in What Hollywood Believes Jim Carrey is quoted as saying, "I don't know what God is but I know that He's at least an energy that rules all that walks the earth and I really think there are laws. There are laws and maybe they're within us." He's right about that. And God sent him someone to tell him about those Laws. Please pray for Jim's salvation. ANOTHER INTERVIEW WITH GOD

You heard of the book , and probably saw the flash presentation of 'An Interview with God', and if you are astute, you would have realized something was fundamantally wrong with that representation of God. We are in a day where the church is swallowing anything and everything that slightly resembles God. It is the same with the gospel itself. Paul wrote to Timothy a long time ago that the time would indeed come when sound teaching (doctrine) would not be tolerated , but the church would actually heap unto itself teachers having itching ears etc. etc. Jesus Himself said that in the day of Judgement , many would call Him Lord , but He would have to say 'depart from Me , you workers of iniquity, .... I never knew you. All that to say 'Here is something that will help get us back to the faith once delivered to the saints(i.e.believers) of old ~ We need to wake up, and contend for that!!!'

CONFIDENCE TO SHARE JESUS by Darrell Robinson

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. ACTS 4:31 God has a power team of three that He uses to bring people to Christ: the Word of God, the work of the Spirit, and the witness of the believer. There is power in the Word of God. Romans 10:17 tells us, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (NKJV). The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit He uses to pierce deeply into the heart and mind of the nonbeliever. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate soul-winner. Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him” (John 6:44). God draws the nonbeliever through the enlightenment, revelation, and conviction of the Spirit. Finally, God uses the witness of the believer to bring people to Christ. As the believer faithfully shares the Word of God, the Holy Spirit uses the Word to convince and draw unbelievers to Christ. God uses the believer to guide those the Holy Spirit is drawing to Christ through the conversion experience. Acts 3–4 record how God did a mighty work through the witness of the church. Multitudes were coming to Christ and being saved, and opposition arose. The Bible tells us that the believers in Acts went to God in prayer, asking God for boldness to proclaim the gospel. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with bold-ness. You and I can have that same boldness to share Christ because we know that God wants to use us to bring the lost to Christ. One day all our voices and styles of worship will be blended seamlessly together into one monumentally incredible song of worship to the Lamb who alone is worthy to receive such honor and glory, and as that anthem grows in heaven and each of the redeemed finally takes their place in that heavenly choir, we are allowed sometimes to peek thru into the glory we will also one day enjoy forever.
