Would You Be Grateful if Someone Paid a Fine You Owe but Could Never Pay?

If someone you do not know payed a fine you owed to satisfy the bar of justice and thus setting you free from the laws claim upon you, would you be grateful ? That is what God did. When Jesus came to demonstrate God's love and Justice and when He died the death He died, your fine for breaking God's Holy Eternal Law was being paid on your behalf. The penalty for breaking God's Holy Eternal Law is Holy Eternal Justice upon your head. We are sinners and enemies of God by our actions and nature. The sentence upon us all is eternal death in a place prepared for the devil and his angels(Angels who rebelled) Simply put - God paid our fine and we can receive the Gift of Everlasting Life if we will trust the work Jesus did on our behalf for our salvation from God's judgement upon us. What if God Almighty was so motivated by love that He came down from Heaven and "disguised" to look like us, did a special op so we could all be saved from God's just wrath against our sin, and having paid the fine for us (us all having violated God's Holy Law and thus being under God's judgement), He rose from the dead declaring the way to Heaven wide open for those who would trust Him alone as the DoorWay . Something does indeed happen in us when we trust Him who came as a baby into this world. John Newton called it "Amazing Grace" . It is interesting that your own eyes are not telling you the truth. Or maybe it is the way the signal is being interpreted by the brain. Or maybe...... Does it really matter? The fact is, something is moving in the image above when in reality it isn't moving at all. This is called an 'optical illusion' In light of such things, it is also interesting to note that if your own eyes can deceive you, what about your spiritual eyes? In other words , what you think you know about the unseen spiritual world. i.e. Is there a heaven? Is there a hell? Is God going to judge the world in righteousness as the bible proclaims He is ? How will we escape if we neglect our own salvation, in the light of a God who is Holy, and has to condemn that which does not meet the standard of His Holiness ? If your own eyes cannot give you a true picture of what can be seen, how much more important is it to be sure about eternal things? Good enough for heaven? Take the Good Person Test and see .......Something to think on....
